If you or someone you love is one of the millions of Americans who suffer from chronic or debilitating back or neck pain, there is good news. There is no need to live with the pain and miss out on life anymore! Even if you have had back surgery before but still suffer, don't lose hope! Texas Spine Center can help. A national leader in neurosurgery and spinal disorders with more than 26 years of experience, Dr. Shah Siddiqi of Texas Spine Center is well- respected among his peers for his experience and expertise and well-loved by his patients for his compassionate, comprehensive and conservative approach in helping patients get back to enjoying an active, pain-free life.
A Conservative Approach....
"Most patients benefit with our different conser- vative treatment options," said Dr. Siddiqi. "For those needing surgery, minimally-invasive spinal surgery is an effective alternative to traditional spine surgery." Due to advances in disc surgery, minimally invasive techniques using endo- scopes and microscopes now allow for smaller surgical incisions. Shorter recovery times from surgery means getting back to the things you enjoy–sooner!
Minimally invasive techniques that may be recommended by Dr. Siddiqi include Microendoscopic Discectomy, Foraminotomies/ Laminotomies for Spinal Stenosis, Percutaneous Spinal Fusion and more.
"I believe in offering my patients a comprehensive solution and treatment plan in order to get the very best outcome, so I place great emphasis on making the correct diagnosis," said Dr. Siddiqi. It is here where his 26 plus years of experience shine."If there is not a correct diagnosis, any subsequent treatment is not quite relevant. As a board certified neurosurgeon with fellowship training in spinal surgery, I focus on diagnosing the underlying problem as well as the presenting symptoms."
Patient-Centered Care
Texas Spine Center was designed with patients and their families in mind. With two locations for patient convenience, both offices are warm, inviting and comfortable. The staff is friendly and professional. "We offer diagnostic testing, therapies and many procedures right on site," said Dr. Siddiqi. "I am the one who will see each patient from start to finish of treatment and I personally review MRI films with each patient."
Texas Spine Center provides on-site focused therapy which exclusively treats spinal conditions, as well as provides on-site spinal pain management for simple and complex spinal conditions. The staff provides a comprehensive range of non-surgical treatments for back and neck pain, disc disease, other spinal conditions such as controlled, computerized spinal traction/decompression for disc disease (VAX-D, DRX-9000 systems) and selective spinal injections (diagnostic and therapeutic).
Texas Spine Center is one of the few practices that provides microsurgical techniques combined with minimally invasive spine surgery options for back pain, disc surgery and spinal fusions which allow for an early recovery.
